Farpoint 650nm Laser Collimator is precisely machined from a single piece of aluminum in a single machining step, resulting in perfect alignment. Offering the smallest aperture of any other laser in the amateur astronomy market, Farpoint lasers feature an aperture (0.76mm or 30/1000 of an inch) producing less speckling and more precise reading of the laser beam’s position on the telescope mirror.

Features a 1.25" and 2" combo stepped barrel, an extra bright 650nm red laser, and superior EIGHT screw alignment arrangement ensuring that BOTH ends of the laser diode are held in place by two sets of directly opposing screws for precise and lasting alignment.

Farpoint 2" Cheshire Collimator is a precision-machined, red anodized alignment tool for 2" apertures, is practically indestructible, and requires no batteries.

A Cheshire eyepiece or Cheshire collimator consists of a peephole that is inserted into the telescope focuser in place of the eyepiece. Ambient light falls on the brightly painted oblique back of the peephole. Images of this bright surface are reflected by the mirrors or lenses of the telescope and can thus be seen by a person peering through the hole. A Cheshire eyepiece contains no lenses or other polished optical surfaces.

Farpoint 2" Autocollimator is our newly redesigned model and absolutely the finest Autocollimator on the market! Made from sturdy machined, anodized aluminum, creating the perfect tool for the nal precision telescope alignment adjustment step. You can estimate the deliver time to your home or business by viewing the "Ships Within" information listed with every product. This refers to the time from when you place your order, to the time it leaves the warehouse. The total delivery time for your order is calculated from the time your order is placed, until you receive it. The diagram below shows how the total delivery time is broken down into pre-ship processing time and shipping time.

Processing time is the time it takes from when you submit your order to when the product leaves the warehouse. The "Ships Within" time frame listed with each of our products on the website applies to this time frame. For example, if your order a product that reads "Ships Within: 2 Weeks", this means that the product typically leaves the factory within two weeks. If there will be any additional time required to process your order, we will notify you immediately to confirm the delivery period. This time is needed for products that are shipped to you directly from our manufacturers. The manufacturers need this time to fulfill your order. In some cases, the items are custom built.  Shipping time is measured when your order leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at your address. Actual shipping time can vary between 2-5 business days.
