You can estimate the deliver time to your home or business by viewing the "Ships Within" information listed with every product. This refers to the time from when you place your order, to the time it leaves the warehouse. The total delivery time for your order is calculated from the time your order is placed, until you receive it. The diagram below shows how the total delivery time is broken down into pre-ship processing time and shipping time.
Processing time is the time it takes from when you submit your order to when the product leaves the warehouse. The "Ships Within" time frame listed with each of our products on the website applies to this time frame. For example, if your order a product that reads "Ships Within: 2 Weeks", this means that the product typically leaves the factory within two weeks. If there will be any additional time required to process your order, we will notify you immediately to confirm the delivery period. This time is needed for products that are shipped to you directly from our manufacturers. The manufacturers need this time to fulfill your order. In some cases, the items are custom built. Shipping time is measured when your order leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at your address. Actual shipping time can vary between 2-5 business days. As the APM MS 20X80 ED binoculars were the first APM product I have ever tried, I was relying solely on the reviews of others when making my purchase. The excellent reviews the binos received, however, are accurate. I use the binos for terrestrial and celestial viewing. The clarity is very good, and the size and weight do not necessarily require a tripod. I’m very satisfied with the purchase.
The APM 20x80 ED Binos are excellent. Once focused, they are clear at pretty much and distance with pretty good edge to edge clarity. I have owned, borrowed or returned a lot of glass over the years. Both scopes and binos. I once had a chance to compare Nikon HD Monarch 15x56 with the same HD Swarovski, both on tripods and personally was happy I had saved a lot with the Nikon. I’ve looked through about 8 different ED and HD 80-100mm spotting scopes and previously owned the Athlon HD 85mm Cronus Scope, it was a great scope but I didn’t care for the monocular viewing. I talked with a fellow enthusiast who had tried to combine and collimate separate scopes and said it was difficult, but all the high quality Binos were out of my price range then. What I can say with certainty about these APM Binos is that while they are larger and heavier than than either bino mentioned above, they also perform much better. I have looked through other larger Binos where this is far from the case because those others are made with inferior glass. The comparison Binos mentioned above are both quality glass as many others know and will attest to which means the glass in these APMs are also of high quality; you can’t obtain better performance with larger glass unless it’s good glass. The pictures I took were offhand and without a phone scope on one side of the bino so they don’t quite do these APMs justice. I could make out all the individual lines of tree bark at several hundred yards, and rocks, trees and bushes were pretty distinguished on a mtn top miles away that looked solid green to the naked eye. I see a 25x model is available from APM and probably would have preferred that power, as these objectives are super bright and really gather light well but I couldn’t find anyone selling that model - maybe it’s not out yet. For the money these are really great if you don’t mind the size and you will be hard pressed to do better without spending at least a thousand USD more.
