These good quality 11x70 binoculars are great for amateur astronomers . Just go out and look for the next comet in the sky. Or sit in a garden lounger and browse the Milky Way to discover distant galaxies or star clusters that stand like jewels in the sky. But even during the day you can make great observations with the APM MS 11 x 70 Magnesium ED Binoculars. This large binoculars with the oversized 70 mm optics is a pleasure in nature observations. Unlike some telescopes, the 11x70 binoculars are portable and easy to take on tours without the need for a tripod.

Here are some details of this beautiful binocular:

Great Optics: The cost and look of a pair of binoculars is irrelevant. What you want is great optics: a clear, sharp and colorful image. APM magnesium binoculars, regardless of magnification or aperture, use high-quality ED glass (FK61) and BAK-4 prisms for high contrast and crisp, sharp images across the entire field. Special coatings on all optical surfaces further increase the image quality and ensure lifelike colors.

IPX-7 waterproofing:The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) classifies the degree of protection against water and classifies it in a system. The APM 11x70 Magnesium ED Binoculars have IPX-7 protection, which means they can withstand 30 minutes. at 1 m depth the penetration of water. Such a mishap will rarely occur but this protection ensures that this binoculars can be safely used in rain and splash water.

Solid lightweight case: APM Magnesium ED APO binoculars have a magnesium housing, the lightest of the metals. Magnesium is still known for its strength and resistance to corrosion. The binoculars are also covered with a rubber coating that further protects the binoculars and allows a secure non-slip grip without weighing too much. Focus adjustment is achieved by individually focusing each eyepiece individually. A tripod adapter connector is attached to the front of the bridge and covered with a nice metal cap. To access the port, all you need to do is unscrew the cap and attach the attached tripod adapter. The housing is airtight and filled with nitrogen.

    Large pupillary distance:
The APM MS ED APO 11x70 Magnesium Series binoculars have a very comfortable pupillary distance of 23 mm. The term pupil distance explains where to place your eye to see the entire field of view. The smaller this distance, the closer you need to bring your eye closer to the eyepiece. If you wear glasses and want to watch with them, this distance becomes very important. Since the APM binoculars have a large pupillary distance, if you want to observe with a pair of glasses, you only have to fold in the eyecups. For normal observation without glasses, the eyecups remain unfolded.

Other accessories: All APM magnesium binoculars come with a tripod adapter, a Cordura carrying case, a shoulder strap, lens caps and eyepiece caps.

these binoculars are superlative...views are crisp, clear, & bright... no optical aberrations are perceptible...excellent for astronomical viewing...Orion nebula was very bright & distinct...as an open box, there was absolutely nothing that would indicate this, save for the product title...packaging was quite heavy duty & first rate...for the price savings & the overall outstanding quality, this product is highly recommended & a good deal to boot!...jo'c
